STUDENTS FOR EQUALITY is a network of pro-equality students all over the world, providing a unified, student-driven forum of support for students and student organizations dedicated to equality.

Students For Equality is an established project, however it is still an open-ended idea and the advisory panel(s) may help determine the future of the project.  Nothing published on this website is a permanent indication of Students For Equality's future.  Your voice and your effort can make all the difference!  If you are interested in getting involved or advising us, please join our network and we will message you.

BENEFITS OF OUR PRO-LIBERTY UNITY STRATEGY:

Students For Equality was first supported by libertarians and rapidly expanded to include conservatives and progressives in an ever-expanding coalition-building strategy that unites with the pro-liberty movement.  Proud of that heritage, we also know that our pro-liberty unity strategy is a win-win:  pro-liberty voices aren't excluded from the pro-equality student movement, and pro-equality supporters benefit from the cutting edge, bridge-building tactics of pro-liberty supporters who help win pro-liberty people over.  By uniting with pro-liberty leaders, we are ensuring that our pro-equality outreach goes far beyond the barriers of the progressive Democratic base.  Far too often, the pro-equality movement tries to minimize libertarians, conservatives and independents from the ideological diversity, dialogue and debate necessary to win the culture war on this issue, when in reality these advocates should be maximized because they are the ones who bridge the unnatural divide between the pro-equality and pro-liberty movements.  We are here to unite the LGBTQIA community for equality and the freedom to marry by integrating pro-liberty perspectives.  That means including opinions from organizations like GOProud, Log Cabin Republicans and Outright Libertarians, and outside-the-box icons like Colin Powell, Laura Bush, Gary Johnson, etc.  If you have a problem with that, and you don't want to unite with us, there are plenty of movements out there for you to join.  But we are different.  We are Students For Equality.  Please join us in changing the direction of the debate about equality and the freedom to marry by building the strongest inter-ideological coalition possible to win equality through unity.  Click here to join us in changing the world!
